2019 Brings New Communities Into the Fold

HandsOnSports is excited to announce we will work with the communities of Cuyahoga Falls, Cleveland Heights, Parma and Warrensville Heights in addition to the cities of Akron and Lakewood in 2019. With the formation of the Northern Ohio Futsal Commission community leaders and agencies will collaborate to transform underused park spaces, to deliver futsal instruction and programming to school children through their physical education classes as well as in after school programs and to provide equipment including balls, shoes, shinguards, uniforms and goals to truly connect Northern Ohio communities and families through the game of futsal.

The highlight of 2019 will be the visit from FIFA Futsal World Cup Champion coach Diego Giustozzi of Argentina. He will perform a youth clinic and a coaching course during Akron’s Futsal Festival this July 5th, 6th and 7th.
